Why a 48-Hour Window?
Standard 24-hour stories often feel rushed and encourage superficial scrolling multiple times a day. We found that a 48-hour duration gives your close circle time to see your updates comfortably, without demanding constant attention.
Once 48 hours have passed, the status item expires from active feeds. This page does not promise immediate physical deletion from every backup or storage layer.
